Lori-Anne joined AccountAbility Minnesota as the development director in June, 2011. She has been working in the nonprofit sector in various development and communications roles since 1983, with organizations such as The Playwrights’ Center, YWCA of Minneapolis, Wayside Foundation for the Arts (VA), the University of Minnesota and many more. As a grant writer, Lori-Anne has secured funding from corporate, foundation, and government agencies. As a communicator, she has managed theater season ticket campaigns, employee communication, media relations, crisis communications and major special events. Lori-Anne is also an experienced teacher and presenter, having taught at the Minnesota Council on Foundations, University of St. Thomas and at conferences around the country. She has an undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California and a master’s degree in liberal studies from the University of Minnesota.
